Bangko Sentral keeps
interest rates steady |
|

BANKS’ overnight deposits with
the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas will continue to earn the existing
rate, after the Monetary Board on Thursday decided to keep its
policy rates steady despite inflation easing to 20-year lows.
The BSP has maintained its
overnight borrowing and lending rates at 7.5 percent and 9.75
percent, respectively, since October 2005.
