Lawmakers want the Department of Energy and the
National Power Corp. to explain to people the real reason behind
Wednesday’s unscheduled power outages in Northern and Southern
Luzon.
Anakpawis Rep. Crispin Beltran
slammed the energy department and the state-owned power firm for
their silence on the issue, saying the power failures would be an
added burden to the people who are already reeling from the
excruciating summer heat.
