Bulls eye solo lead

RED BULL tries to move closer for the outright semis berth as it clashes with Purefoods Tender Juicy in the main game of the TNT-PBA Fiesta Conference Sunday at the Araneta Coliseum.

The defending champion Bulls, currently tied with Ginebra at top spot with 8-2 slate each, and the slumping Giants collide at 6:20 p.m.

In the first game, Air21 seeks its seventh win against the reeling Welcoat Paints at 4:05 p.m.

Red Bull is coming off a 100-71 thumping of the Dragons last Wednesday that proved to be costly for them as import James Penny suffered a bruised left hand after a hard tackle by Welcoat center Jay-R Reyes.

Penny is a doubtful starter today though his presence is badly needed by the team especially against their chief nemesis Purefood and Marquin Chandler.

The Giants, holding a 3-7 slate, were defeated by the Express in their previous game, 89-102. Their superstar James Yap missed the game to attend a personal matter as his celebrity wife Kris Aquino gave birth to their first child.
