LUCENA CITY: Black shirts dominate the indignation
rally today led by the National Union of Journalists of the
Philippines (NUJP)-Quezon chapter to signify their outrage for the
apparent incapacity of government to protect the lives of media
practitioners in the country, said Benjie Antioquia, acting chairman
of NUJP-Quezon.
This renewed vigilance stems from
the failed ambush on April 19 of Delfin Mallari Jr. of the
Philippine Daily Inquirer-Southern Luzon Bureau and Johnny Glorioso,
dzMM correspondent for Quezon.
