ASINGAN, Pangasinan: Four persons were massacred Monday evening in
Barangay Calepaan, a remote village in Urdaneta City.
The Ilocos region police office
identified the fatalities as Conrado Miranda, 50, his wife Isabel,
48, and the couple’s two nephews, Cesar Quijada, 15, and Andrian
Fred Cancino, 16.
COTABATO: Three workers were
injured in a grenade attack on the office of a US-funded project in
the troubled southern Philippine island of Mindanao, police said
