Palace welcomes
PPCRV’s
proposal to add poll watchers |
|
MALACAÑANG welcomed Sunday the
proposal of the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV)
for additional poll watchers from all sides of the political
spectrum in this year’s midterm elections and said that public
involvement would ensure fraud-free elections on May 14.
Secretary Gabriel
Claudio, presidential political adviser, said Team Unity, the
administration’s coalition ticket, would hire and deploy more
watchers during the canvassing of votes in response to the call made
by PPCRV head Henrietta de Villa.
