What the stars will wear
to the Star Magic Ball

Highly-revered fashion designer Frederick Peralta is tasked to turn the young stars of  ABS-CBN’s Talent Center into glamorous mannequins when they attend the first-ever Star Magic Ball at the InterContinental Hotel Manila on Sunday.  The grand affair is the highlight of the 15th anniversary celebration of the talent discovery and development center of the Lopez-owned company.

What used to be known as Talent Center is now called Star Magic, but the people who run the show and the mission and vision of the company are still very much intact since the executives of ABS-CBN set it up fifteen years ago.  Johnny Manahan still calls the shots for the entity that has turned the likes of Piolo Pascual, Claudine Barretto, Jericho Rosales and Kristine Hermosa into big, bankable stars.

Now, more than ever, Star Magic continues to open the doors for promising young men and ladies to take a chance at stardom and this Sunday, everyone at Star Magic, veterans and neophytes alike, will take turns in putting their best foot—and ball gowns—forward.

Let’s take a peep on how Peralta is envisioning these stars to look on Sunday’s big bash.  He personally shared with Life & Times what he is whipping up for stars like Kim Chiu, Maja Salvador, Roxanne Guinoo, Valeen Montenegro, Isabel Blaesi, Lauren Young, and Erich Gonzales for this weekend’s main event through the wonderful illustrations of his protégé Gershwin Qua.
