THE international hair expert brand Wella has revealed the four
hottest hair trends—Nordic Serenity, Sensual Intrigue, Pop Couture
and Rustic Deluxe—for its annual Trend Vision competition. These
hairstyles will be interpreted by 10 chosen salon teams all vying
for one of the industry’s most prestigious hair plums, the Wella
Trend Vision Awards 2007.
Established in 1997, the competition features
participating stylists’ interpretations of creative hair concepts
researched and selected by Wella and global trend agency Trend
Union. Open to hairdressers 30 years old and below, the recognition
program provides young hairdressers a venue for expressing their
creativity and improving their craft.
The Philippine finals of the highly anticipated
award show will be staged at the Ayala Museum Lobby on August 6. The
winning team will be the country’s representative at the
International Trend Vision Award finals in Barcelona, Spain,
sometime in October.
