Sounds of Style

Metro Manila’s newest mall was put to the acid test recently as thousands flocked to TriNoma for Penshoppe’s Sounds of Style featuring Bamboo, the Philippines’ premier rock band. Literally packed to the rafters and thundering with the screams of thousands of fans, the TriNoma Activity Center was the arena for Bamboo’s first major concert as Penshoppe’s newest ambassadors of music and style, in what turned out to be TriNoma’s biggest event ever. Penshoppe’s Sounds of Style was also a fitting jumpstart for the opening of the Penshoppe’s flagship store at TriNoma.

Bamboo rocked the house from start to finish, ending its powerhouse set with smash hit and youth anthem “Awit ng Kabataan” before heading off to the Penshoppe flagship store for a meet-and-greet session with fans.

Eager fans who queued up to meet and greet the Pinoy rock legends were blown away by the hip styling, spacious interiors and interactive features of the Penshoppe boutique at TriNoma. Inspired by the King’s Cross Station from the hit Harry Potter series, the Penshoppe’s flagship store at TriNoma features arched steel ceilings and brick columns that evoke the edgy industrial feel of an old train station. Music-loving shoppers who are waiting in line to meet and greet Bamboo grooved to the latest beats at the listening station and surfed the net at the store’s iMac computer. Others took a break at the boutique’s chill-out and comfy lounge.

Be on the look out for Popoli’s exclusive feature on Penshoppe’s pre-holiday line, coming very soon!
