It was more than a decade ago
since Emma Bunton, Mel Brown, Mel Chisholm, Victoria Adams and Geri
Halliwell rose to super star status as the “in your face”
British girl group “The Spice Girls.” Better known by their
hordes of fanatics around the globe as Baby, Scary, Sporty, Posh and
Ginger, the Spice Girls became a phenomenon that helped defined a
generation. Through their upbeat anthems, colorfully kitschy
costumes, and multimillion-dollar making image, which spawned
numerous albums, concerts, endorsements and even a movie, this
singing and dancing quintet pushed the epitome of “Girl Power.”
Much has changed since then and
the girls have since become women with separate lives of their own.
Since 2001, each member has since pursued solo careers with varying
degrees of success, while Posh Spice has become better known as
fashion icon Victoria Beckham.
