Design revolutions
in the workplace |
|
New work environments with the look and feel of a
dynamic university are being introduced by Ayala Land to rapidly
growing industries including the business processing outsourcing
segment.
Picking up from successful models
abroad like Silicon Valley and the Infosys Campuses in India, the
premier real-estate firm is building two IT campuses in the next two
years. A cluster of low-rise buildings built around a central
amenity like a park or a lake, this new office format “creates a
conducive workplace for young employees who are more at home with
the informality and less structured ambience of the university
rather than the corporate appeal of the office tower,” according
to Marivic Añonuevo, head of Ayala Land’s Corporate Business
Group.
