Aquino-Galman slay
convicts
plead for executive clemency |

AS the country is set to
commemorates the 24th death anniversary of the late Sen. Benigno
Aquino Jr., the convicts in the gruesome Aquino-Galman double murder
case are now seeking Executive Clemency from President Arroyo,
similar to what was given recently to convicted Zamboanga del Norte
Rep. Romeo Jalosjos.
The Public Attorney’s Office (PAO)
led by Atty. Persida Rueda-Acosta, lawyer for the Aquino-Galman
convicts, appealed to President Arroyo to grant the 14 convicts
commutation of sentence.
