FORTY-ONE teams from all over the world paddled their hearts out to
the beat of a drum at the 1st International Dragon Boat festival in
Boracay. But one team emerged the big winner: The FILA Bugsay
Boracay team garnered 3 golds, 2 silvers and 1 bronze, proving that
the local dragon boat racers are a force to reckon with.
Beaming from ear to ear was Cris Albert who was
so proud of the FILA team led by the tough and sexy Elena Brugger.
Onboard to cheer the team were: SeaAir big boss Patrick Tan, Wanda
Louwallien, Deena Garcia-de la Cruz, Maurica Arcache, Donita Rose,
Marc Nelson, Alex van Hagen and Derek Ramsay.
Of course, let us not forget the after parties
that painted the island Bloody Mary red in wonderful FILA sports
outfits.
After the big win, the dragon boat racers are
eyeing the prestigious Hong Kong Stanley International Dragon Boat
Race.
