Rain, tidal rise bring flood to coastal areas

 
DAGUPAN CITY: Rainwater that would not easily recede plus rising tide combined to flood some areas of the city as heavy overcast sky in the east threatened to dump more rains on Friday.

The city disaster coordinating council headed by Mayor Alipio Fernandez, working round-the- clock to assist distressed citizens, said the tidal rise occurred from 3 a.m. and was at its highest about 8:15 a.m.
