Military to wipe out Sayyaf in Sulu

Stung after suffering some of its heaviest casualties in decades of fighting militants, the military vowed on Friday to wage all-out war against Abu Sayyaf extremists in Sulu.

The military has since Tuesday lost 26 dead and 17 woun­ded in clashes with the Abu Sayyaf in Jolo, military spokesman Lt. Col. Bartolome Bacarro said.
