CELEBRATIONS

RX 93.1

Almost silver

ALTHOUGH others have resorted to pallid shock tactics and retrograde vulgar programming in order to keep their audience share, one radio station has continuously chosen to buck the trends and aim for the best. As it celebrates its 24th anniversary, Monster Radio RX 93.1 continues to demonstrate the qualities that have won it fame and acclaim: intelligent, responsible and audience-responsive programming, topnotch creativity and a commitment to excellence. The five-time Golden Dove Award-winner for Best FM Radio Station has prepared an exciting schedule of anniversary events this month as their way of giving back to the listeners who have stayed loyal all these years.

The RX Concert Series—the most imitated, still unmatched live musical program on radio—will hold Face the Music concerts, allowing 30 guests in the studio to watch two big-time artists perform back to back. Aired live on Mondays at 6 p.m., the RX Concert Series features Kyla and Hale on August 20; and Barbie Almalbis and Rivermaya on August 27.

Anniversary Monster Movie Premieres will bring Evan Almighty at Robinsons Galleria Cinema 5 on August 16; and The Invasion on August 28 at Glorietta 4 Cinema 6. The celebration culminates in the RX Listeners’ Anniversary Party to be held on August 31 at the posh Alchemy Vapor Bar in Tiendesitas.
