Bishops oppose Sulu

THE influential Catholic
Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) on Tuesday strongly
objected to the military’s decision to launch an all out war
against Muslim extremist groups in Mindanao.
“The [government] must not make
violent moves especially [since] they don’t know who the
perpetrators are,” CBCP president, Jaro Archbishop Angel Lagdameo,
said.
