PACIFIC Online Systems Corp., the exclusive online
lottery systems and terminal supplier of state-run Philippine
Charity Sweepstakes Office in the Visayas and Mindanao announced
that its revenues rose in November due to additional terminals and
new games.
The lotto operator disclosed to
the Philippine Stock Exchange that its revenues for the first 11
months grew by 16 percent to P430 million from last year. This
translates to lotto sales reaching P 4.3 billion.
Pacific Online expects that by
the end of this year, its revenues would grow by three-folds or more
than P150 million.
“With robust December sales,
full-year total revenues is trending [to] increase over last year,
mainly due to successful roll-out of terminals and introduction of
new digit games,” Willy N. Ocier, Pacific Online chairman and
president, said.
In August, the company’s
subsidiary, Lotto Pacific Leisure Corp., bought Lucky Circle Corp.
for P18 million. Lucky Circle is a local firm that owns and operates
20 online lottery-betting stations inside SM malls.
The parent firm also launched
scratch card game in partnership with AB Gaming Corp called EZ2
digit game, which is one of the best-selling games in Luzon. Ocier
said both the scratch cards and Lucky Circle are “performing
strongly” nationwide.
Next year, Pacific Online would
be launching Power Lotto and aims to roll out 820 terminals and
penetrate 90 new municipalities in southern Philippines in the next
two years.
