Hapee’s destiny versus Harbour’s dynasty

AFTER topping the field for the last two months, undefeated Hapee Toothpaste and three-time champion Harbour Centre battle for the biggest prize in the best-of-three finals of the 2008 PBL V-Go Extreme Energy Drink Cup starting Thursday at the Arena in San Juan.

Both ballclubs are tournament favorites, with the Complete Protectors bannered by the do-it-all Fil-Am Gabe Norwood of US NCAA Div. 1 George Mason University and the Batang Pier loaded with youthful UAAP superstars such as Tyrone Tang, Rico Maierhofer of 2007 UAAP champions De La Salle University, and athletic forwards Edwin Asoro (NU) and Dylan Ababou (UST).
