Corrections director
sacked over Jalosjos |

Bureau of Corrections Director
Ricardo Dapat has been sacked from his post, apparently for the
unauthorized release of Romeo Jalosjos, a convicted rapist and
former Zamboanga del Norte congressman.
Justice Secretary Raul Gonzalez
said on Wednesday that President Gloria Arroyo had replaced Dapat
with Oscar Calderon, former Philippine National Police chief.
