Cancellation of the conversion order could open the
floodgates of protest to pressure Malacañang

“The cancellation of the conversion order of the controversial
144-hectare property in Sumilao, Bukidnon which the Supreme Court
already decided with finality may set a bad precedent.”
This was emphasized by former Masbate
vice-governor Antonio Ag Medina on Thursday speaking for the NQSR
Management and Development Corp. He added that the move would be
perceived as “a threat to big- and medium-size tracts of land
owned by private persons, entities and even foreign investors.”
