A new leaf in the life of Jose Antonio Leviste

HE New Year usually symbolizes new beginnings.
It is a good time to reflect about our lives, to reevaluate our
priorities, to recharge our energies and to rethink our strategies.
For former Batangas Governor Jose Antonio Leviste, the new year is
an opportunity to make a difference, to speak up and be heard, to
set things straight, to touch lives, to move hearts, and to let God
take full control.
Many would describe 2007 as a bad year for
Leviste. The former governor was accused of killing his longtime
aide Rafael de las Alas during a heated argument.

Beginnings Home in Marikina.

Philippines recognized at the Asia Spa awards

THE prestigious 2007 AsiaSpa Awards recently awarded Boracay’s
Mandala Spa & Villas’ Hilot Trilogy as Holistic Treatment of
the Year in extravagant proceedings at the Grand Hyatt in Hong Kong.
The event gathered 350 leaders of the spa trade from all over the
world.

Teaching kids early on proper
hygiene

AS part of its employee volunteerism program entitled “Project
G.I.V.E. (Growth and Inspiration through Volunteerism
Experiences),” volunteers from the Johnson & Johnson’s
Research and Development (R&D) and Quality Assurance divisions
spent a day teaching grade-school students the importance of proper
hygiene through the World Vision Hygiene Education Program.
