DOJ orders investigation 
into foiled killing of lawmaker

THE Department of Justice instructed the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to conduct an immediate investigation to the foiled ambush of Abra Rep. Cecille Luna.

In a one-page memorandum, Justice Secretary Raul Gonzalez ordered NBI Director Nestor Mantaring to submit the report of its findings within a period of five days inclusive of its recommendations.
