Indigenous office wants 
govt to address diarrhea


BUTUAN CITY: The National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) on Monday asked concerned line agencies of the government to form a task force that will completely eradicate diarrhea, which has struck the hinterland tribal communities in San Luis, Agusan del Sur, since October last year.

The NCIP regional office placed the death toll due to diarrhea at 35 persons, mostly children.
