Govt peace envoys
held in MNLF camp |
|
Some 15 government officials, including a high defense official and
a Marine general, are being held by Muslim rebels while on a peace
mission in Sulu, officials said Saturday.
Defense Undersecretary Ramon
Santos, Maj. Gen, Mohamad Ben Dolorfino and 13 other soldiers and
peace negotiators were not allowed to leave the Moro National
Liberation Front (MNLF) camp in Bitan-ag, Panamao town.
