DOF sees huge revenue loss 
from proposed TEZA perks

The proposed tourism incentives would incur a huge revenue loss and impede the government’s infrastructure spending program, the Department of Finance warned.

Finance Undersecretary Gil Beltran told reporters the national government foresees P5-billion annual revenue loss from the proposed creation of tourism enterprise zones under the Tourism Act authored by Sen. Richard Gordon.
