JEROME Cenital and Mark Yee
exploded with 23 points apiece as San Sebastian College
Recoletos-Cavite rolled past Emilio Aguinaldo College, 88-65, to
clinch the title in the Federation of School Sports Association of
the Philippines RP-Korea Friendship Games Sunday at the EAC Gym.
Cenital, who
was later named Most Valuable Player of the week-long tournament
organized by the Basketball Association of the Philippines and
supported by Burlington Socks, Baker’s Fair and Healthy Options,
made most of the damage in the first half, as the Baycats built a
51-29 edge en route to the lopsided win.
Yee took over
in the last two quarters where he outgunned top General Ronjay
Buenafe, who finished with 18 points despite a swarming defense put
up against him by the Baycats.
Glenn Bolocon
had 14 points and Jose Magdadaro added 13 for SSC-Cavite, while
Alain Musni and Lowell Yaya chipped in 11 each for the Generals, who
settled for runner-up honors.
