Hold-departure order
issued
for 30 Chinese fishermen |

THE Bureau of Immigration has
placed on its hold-departure order list the 30 Chinese fishermen
arrested off the coast of Palawan in December for poaching in
Philippine waters.
Immigration Commissioner Alipio
Fernandez Jr. said Tuesday that he has signed the order banning the
Chinese fishermen from leaving the country in compliance with a
directive from Justice Secretary Raul M. Gonzalez.
