‘New type’ of explosive 
used in India train attack

NEW DELHI: A “new type” of explosive mix was used to firebomb a train from India to Pakistan that left 68 people dead, India’s Home Minister Shivraj Patil said.

Patil, who is in charge of India’s internal security, also said detectives had found vital clues that could lead to those who attacked the “Samjhauta [Friendship] Express.”
