McDonald’s launches Open Doors Program

A LOT may have evolved concerning the image of a modern mom but she is still in essence, a mother who always wants the best for her children. That is the unspoken yet collective message of the celebrity moms who attended the launch of McDonald’s “Open Doors Program” that aims to highlight the restaurant’s food quality, safety and cleanliness. Held at the McDonald’s branch in El Pueblo, Ortigas, on February 20, the celebrity moms who graced the inaugural kitchen tour were Jackie Lou Blanco, Yayo Aguila, Maritoni Fernandez, Patricia Bermudez-Hizon, Cheska Diaz, Tessa Prieto Valdes and Cindy Yang.

Explaining the motive behind the “Open Doors Program,” the McDonald Philippines management emphasized that they might as well “walk the talk” pertaining to the issue of cleanliness. Three batches of media people toured the kitchen of McDonald’s El Pueblo branch witnessing firsthand how the burgers, fried chickens and fries that the public loved so much were prepared.
