North, South Korea
to meet |
|
SEOUL: A South Korean delegation
left Tuesday for high-level talks with North Korea, paving the way
for the resumption of food aid after the impoverished communist
state promised to scrap its nuclear program.
Unification
Minister Lee Jae-Joung said Seoul’s priority at the first
ministerial talks for seven months would be speeding up
implementation of the landmark six-nation nuclear agreement reached
in Beijing this month.
