BALANGA City, Bataan: The provincial office in Bataan of the
Cooperative Development Authority bagged the highest award in
performance, besting all other provincial and city offices in
Central Luzon involved in the supervision of registered
cooperatives, the CDA regional office announced Thursday.
The Bataan team under Nelson D. Evangelista,
District 1 cooperative development specialist and Editha S. Capili,
District 2 cooperative development specialist, were chosen as the
top performing team for 2006.
They did better than CDA teams from Pampanga,
Bulacan, Zambales, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac and Aurora in terms of
over-all accomplishments in physical, income, accountability reports
and networking performance.
CDA regional director Milo Mar lauded the Bataan
provincial office and other teams for “jobs well-done.” He said
many cooperatives that used to be called “poor men’s
organization” have surpassed this tag.
