Olongapo girl brings home
2 int’l beauty pageant titles

OLONGAPO CITY: A 19-year-old BS Psychology student from Mondrian Aura College in Subic won two international beauty titles during the holidays, Miss Teen Bikini World and Ms. Bikini World held in Taipei, Taiwan.

Pauline Garrison of Barangay Gordon Heights won the Ms. Teen Bikini World 2006 title in the age 19-24 category and placed 2nd runner-up in the Miss Bikini World 2006.

She initially won the Miss Bikini Philippines 2006 title and went on to represent the country at the Miss Teen Bikini World 2006 beauty pageant. Then she placed 2nd runner-up in the 2006 Miss Bikini World pageant held in Taipei on December 21.

Anita Horvath, a 21-year-old university student from Hungary, won the crown, beating 39 contestants. First runner-up was Aranzazu Amoedo from Spain.

In 2005 Pauline was among that year’s batch of Miss Philippines-Earth contestants.

“Anyone can achieve what I have achieved, all they need is self confidence and determination.” Said Pauline.

The beauty pageant was organized by the Miss Tourism World Organization and is held yearly in different countries.
