Palace lists top
bets for SC position |

GOVERNMENT
Corporate Counsel Agnes Devanadera looms as Malacañang’s top
choice for the vacant slot in the Supreme Court, with Solicitor
General Antonio Eduardo Nachura coming in next.
A source in
the Judicial and Bar Council (JBC) told The Manila Times Sunday the
Palace will submit the names of Devanadera and Nachura to the JBC.
The council will meet Monday to finalize a list of nominees for the
Supreme Court post that it will submit to President Arroyo.
