POLANGUI,
Albay: The Agta tribe, an indigenous community based in Barangay
Magurang, this town, has decided to help improve the production of a
nonedible perennial shrub, which is a potential source of biodiesel.
Cecilia
Regalario, Agta chieftain, said after the devastation brought by
Supertyphoons Reming and Seniang to coconut and other fruit-bearing
trees, they have no other means of livelihood.
