PUREFOODS Chunkee’s bid to become the first team in 21 years to defend the All-Filipino crown is now a distant memory.

Talk ’N Text came out with another solid defensive effort against the depleted Giants and breezed through the semifinals with a 115-96 win Sunday night to close out their quarterfinal series, 3-1, in the TNT-Philippine Basketball Association Philippine Cup at the Cuneta Astrodome.
