Billboards in parks next to go

After clearing roadsides of billboards and advertising signs, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will next dismantle billboards inside public parks.

“Public parks are a place where people converge. We must always ensure that the public is safe from these structures within the vicinity, “ Public Works and Highways Secretary Hermogenes Ebdane Jr. said Friday.
