CA upholds verdict on Vizconde rape-slay

The Court of Appeals has junked the motion for reconsideration filed by six young men convicted of rape and homicide in what is better known as the 1991 Vizconde massacre.

Voting 3-2, the Special Former 10th Division of the appellate court, affirmed the life sentence handed down by former Parañaque Regional Trial Court Judge Amelita Tolentino on Hubert Webb, Antonio Lejano, Michael Gatchalian, Hospicio “Pyke” Fernandez, Miguel Rodriguez and Peter Estrada.
