CALOOCAN City assessor Teophanie
Christy Sy is facing charges for graft, corruption and direct
bribery after she was caught receiving P2 million in bribe money to
reduce the tax liabilities of businessman George Goquingco.
In filing the graft raps,
Ombudsman Merceditas Gutierrez upheld the recommendation of
Department of Justice (DOJ) Chief State Prosecutor Jovencito Zuño.
