Govt sets sights on raising fees, charges

WITH its tax collections failing to hit the target, the government plans to collect higher revenues from fees and charges collected by agencies, bureaus, offices and departments this year.

The Bureau of Treasury, which is the depository of government fees and charges, targets to collect P36 billion this year, higher than last year’s P30.9 billion.
