JEMYCA Aribado bagged the bronze medal in the
just-concluded 2007 Hong Kong Junior Open Squash Championships.
Aribado opened her bid in the
under-15 category with a 9-2, 9-5, 10-9 win over Korean Lee Ji-hyun
before winning three more times to finish behind gold winner Tong
Tsz Wing and runnerup Wong Hiu Kwan, both of Hong Kong.
Jemyca defeated Malaysian Julia
Cheah, 9-7, 9-3, 9-7, and Hong Kong’s Wong, 9-2, 10-8, 9-10, 9-1,
and Ho Shuk Hei, 9-2, 9-3, 9-7.
