RP faces Iran today 


TOKUSHIMA: National coach Chot Reyes revealed on Friday the final composition of the San Miguel-Pilipinas which faces Iran in the preliminary round of the 24th FIBA-Asia Men’s Championship Saturday at the Tokushima Municipal gym.

Making it to the Final 12 after the closed-door manager’s meeting were Asi Taulava, Jimmy Alapag and Renren Ritualo of Talk ’N Text, Mark Caguioa, Jayjay Helterbrand and Eric Menk of Ginebra, Dondon Hontiveros and Danny Seigle of San Miguel Beer, Kerby Raymundo of Purefoods, Kelly Williams of Sta. Lucia Realty, Mick Pennisi of Red Bull, and Fil-Am Gabe Norwood of George Mason U, who secured his Philippine passport late Monday evening after getting a clearance from the Department of Justice Wednesday.
