Focusing on diesel

Ford diversifies the Focus range
by introducing the 2.0 TDCi Sport diesel variant

By Brian Afuang

(FGP) has brought a bit more of Europe to the country by launching last weekend the Focus 2.0 TDCi Sport, the five-door hatchback diesel variant of the car Ford had tirelessly touted as European bred.

FGP assistant vice president for passenger cars Glen Dasig says their introduction of the Focus TDCi is a response to market needs. “We listened to customers who demand a diesel alternative because of its benefits. As a result, we are bringing in one of Ford’s best vehicles in Europe.” Dasig adds customers of the latest Focus variant will be surprised and delighted with the car’s Duratorq TDCi engine as it delivers a mix of power, fuel efficiency and refinement.
