DISQUALIFIED senatorial candidate
Joselito “Peter” Cayetano lost his appeal to the Supreme Court
to reverse the Commission on Elections’ ruling disqualifying him
from the senatorial race and allowing “Cayetano” votes to go to
Senator-elect Alan Peter Cayetano.
En banc, the High Court ruled to
junk Joselito Cayetano’s petition for certiorari for failure to
comply with the requirements mandated by the Rules of Court.
