Court ruling clears way for Zubiri proclamation |
|
The Supreme Court en banc on
Thursday denied the petition of the Genuine Opposition senatorial
candidate Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel 3rd to stop the recanvassing
of votes from Maguindanao.
The decision gives the Commission
on Elections the green light to proclaim Team Unity’s Juan Miguel
Zubiri as the 12th placer in the senatorial contest.
