Francis Casey Alcantara also notched their second consecutive
victories in the P100,000 event organized by former RP Davis Cupper
Camoy Palahang.
Tierro outclassed Junpei Okabe,
6-2, 6-2, Victorino clobbered Naoya Okamoto, 6-2, 6-0, Anasta
defeated Naoki Miyake, 6-4, 6-3, Joven downed So Hanatani, 7-5, 6-2,
Paglalunan outplayed Shimpei Moriguchi, 7-5, 7-5, and Alcantara
trounced Yuji Natsume, 6-1, 6-0.
Fuyuki Ogawa, the most veteran
among the members of the visiting Kobe Gakuin University team also
handled by Palahang, rallied past Dodong Rubillar, 2-6, 6-4, 6-1.
The players will play in a
round-robin where the top finisher wins the top prize worth
P20,000 while the runner-up gets P10,000.
