Negros officials urge filing 
of charges vs. DAR chief

They are holding Pangandaman ‘responsible’ for installation consequences

BACOLOD CITY: Negros Occidental officials are ready to pass on the blame to Agrarian Secretary Nasser Pangandaman and his men should any violence occur in Hacienda Velez-Malaga after last Thursday’s installation of 53 farmer beneficiaries from Task Force Mapalad in La Castellana town. 

Gov. Joseph Maranon also said they are preparing a report and will submit it personally to President Arroyo as he slams Pangandaman’s surprise installation at the contentious landholdings formerly owned by Roberto Cuenca.
