For model and stylist Michelle
Pamintuan, an early call time is not unusual. When she’s not
styling for magazines or modeling for commercials, she’s out on
the town or just enjoying the nightlife. “I go out a lot at night
so I have to wear a lot of make-up. Plus school and work keep me
busy. There’s so much pressure in what I do. So I try to maintain
a healthy lifestyle. I do yoga and boxing, and follow a good diet. I
wash my face before I go to sleep. I’ve tried the Diamond Peel and
Collagen Mask from Facial Care Centre, and I’m happy with what I
see after. I also drink lots of water.”
DJ-party promoter-entrepreneur
Jon Herrera is active round-the-clock. “I get up early, check my
email, make important calls. As a promoter I have to go to my
events. By night, I’m at the club working as a DJ.” In an
industry where one meets a lot of people, a lasting impression
matters. It’s not about being vain. We’re in this business where
looks really matter. I drink more than 10 glasses of water a day. I
take vitamin E. I don’t smoke. I go for those facials and lasers
at Facial Care, which I learned from my sister and business partner
Teresa. I use moisturizers.”
A magazine-executive-by-day and
events-chronicler-by-night, JR Isaac is on the go almost 24/7.
“When I’m done with work I just stay at home. Read a book, light
a scented candle. I go to my dermatologist regularly. I get my
facials at Facial Care. It’s important to have good skin,
especially in this business.”
TV host Sam Oh has mastered the
art of expecting the unexpected in her hectic schedules. “What
schedule? There’s no set sked for me. Anything goes.” Sam knows
that the stress can inevitably show on her face. “I know I have to
look flawless when I’m on TV. My skin is so oily so I’m careful
about what I use. I keep it really simple. I go to Facial Care for
regular facials. I moisturize. I use hypoallergenic products.
Make-up is just a short-term solution. Having good skin is basically
a way of looking good.”
