San Miguel Beer-BSCP National Open

Alcano, Gallego prevail

TOP seed Ronnie Alcano survived unheralded Benjamin Guevarra, 9-8, to keep his title bid alive in the San Miguel Beer-sponsored Billiards and Snoo­ker Congress of the Philippines National Open Wed­nesday at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

Alcano, who lost to Fidel Punzalan the other day, will next face Daniel de la Rosa, who scored a 9-5 victory over John Rebong.
