THE country’s money supply grew
at a slower pace for a fifth month in September, giving the Bangko
Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) more flexibility in its interest rate
policy-making.
In a statement, BSP Governor
Amando M. Tetangco Jr., said the growth of domestic liquidity or M3
slowed down to 11.4 percent in September from 14.9 percent in
August.
